The Role
Esker is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Intern to join our marketing team beginning in January 2027. This internship offers a unique opportunity for a student or emerging marketing professional to gain hands-on experience across a variety of digital marketing disciplines while contributing to meaningful business outcomes.
The Digital Marketing Intern will support the execution of digital campaigns, website optimization initiatives, content updates, and marketing analytics. Working closely with experienced marketing professionals, the intern will develop practical skills in digital marketing strategy, search engine optimization (SEO), conversion rate optimization (CRO), web content management, and campaign performance measurement.
This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, contribute, and build a strong foundation for a future career in marketing.
Key Tasks/Duties:
Create and maintain campaign landing pages using marketing and website platforms.
Support search engine optimization (SEO) initiatives, including content updates, keyword implementation, and page optimization.
Assist with digital campaign execution across email, web, and related marketing channels.
Update and maintain website content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and optimal user experience.
Support conversion rate optimization (CRO) efforts through testing, analysis, and implementation of website improvements.
Monitor campaign performance and assist in preparing marketing reports and dashboards.
Conduct marketing research and competitive analysis to support ongoing initiatives.
Collaborate with marketing team members on special projects and campaign-related activities.
Help maintain digital marketing assets and ensure adherence to brand standards.
Essential Experience:
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, or a related field.
1-2 years marketing experience through an internship, part-time role, campus organization, or relevant coursework preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
Analytical mindset with an interest in digital marketing performance and data-driven decision making.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work 16-24 hours per week onsite in Middleton, WI.
Working Conditions:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Pay Range: $20-25 per hour
This position is based out of the Middleton, WI office. Remote candidates will not be considered.
