Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional automotive service to our customers, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse vehicle systems, including diesel engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, and electrical components, in a fast-paced environment that values precision and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
  • Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspension components, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain assemblies.
  • Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, and fluid replacements to ensure vehicle longevity.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and techniques to execute repairs efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.

Skills

  • Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics.
  • Knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), automotive electrical systems, and electronic control modules.
  • Skilled in diesel engine repair, transmission overhaul, automotive suspension system repair, and brake repair.
  • Familiarity with schematics interpretation for mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with oil changes, wheel alignments, tire service, shocks & struts replacement, and general vehicle maintenance.
  • Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools.
  • Experience working in the automotive repair industry with a focus on quality workmanship and safety standards.
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment mechanics is a plus for working on larger vehicles or specialized machinery.
  • Spanish speakers is a plus, but not required.
